Roadster Chassis Num: 2459

Limited Edition - 22 Cars in the World

Location: Europe

This was the first modern race car. Lightweight, powerful engine and almost perfect weight distribution on the chassis. It is equipped with a four-cylinder inline engine, dual overhead cams, two Weber carburetors, five-speed transaxle, four wheel disc brakes, 88 inch wheelbase and an overall weight of 1,287 pounds. 1 ASTON MARTIN VULCAN

Limited Edition - 24 cars only

Location: Aston Martin Ex factory

Available: December 2015

The buyer will have access to the Aston Martin factory and create his own set of bespoke optionals.

SOLD

The Aston Martin Vulcan is the latest example of this mutant breed which recently debuted at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

Only 24 examples of the Vulcan will be made, and it’s not road legal.

The Vulcan’s front-mid engined, rear-wheel drive configuration gives it the silhouette of a Vantage, DB9, or Vanquish, but the track special has an ultra lightweight carbon fiber monocoque and styling that makes Aston’s recent One-77 look like a Chrysler Sebring.

A 7.0-liter V12 provides the power, and it’s got plenty of that.

With over 800 horsepower, this is the most extreme version of the basic Aston formula yet. The company says this beast has a better power-to-weight ratio than its Vantage GTE racers.

1935 ALFA ROMEO Monoposto 8C 35 Type C - Ex Ferrari Race Car

3 cars left in the World

Location: Europe

Available: Now

Eight 3.8-litre versions, sharing no castings with the earlier blocks, were individually built for racing in five months, most being used in the Alfa Romeo Monoposto 8C 35 Type C, as raced by Scuderia Ferrari. The 3.8 produced 330 bhp (246 kW) at 5500 rpm, and had 320 lb·ft (434 N·m) from 900 rpm to 5500 rpm.[9] It had 15.5-inch drum brakes all round, using Pirelli 5.25 or 5.50 x 19 tyres at the front and 7.00 or 7.50 x 19 tyres at the rear. From 1933 Scuderia Ferrari had managed the racing, and the Ferrari prancing horse appeared on the flanks of the Bimotore, but Alfa Corse began to become more active, and Vittorio Jano went at the end of the 1937 season. In 1938 four Alfa Romeo Tipo 308 racers were built for the three-litre class using 8C engines.

FERRARI 488 GTB

Location: Italy

Available: October-November 2015

Customizable

The 488GTB is the new benchmark in terms of sublimely responsive driving. It is the next generation up from the 458 Italia, itself a benchmark in its segment. The 488GTB revolutionises rather than evolves the whole concept of responsiveness to driver commands, pushing it to a level that only a few short years ago would only have been the domain solely of competition cars. The 488GTB’s driver will feel that the only limit to the car’s acceleration is the one he sets himself and that he only has to think of what he wants to do for the car to do it. The 488GTB is Ferrari’s most powerful mid-engined berlinetta ever. It also opens up a new chapter in the long history of sports berlinettas with mid-rear V8 engines ushered in exactly 40 years ago by the 308 GTB.

The Abarth 695 Biposto: dedicated and designed for "those" who can only think about the track, for "those" for whom the engine roar is music to their ears, for "those" for whom competing is in their blood. Performance is a state of mind.

The legendary Abarth 695 makes its return after 50 years: the Swiss Motor Show staged the début of the 'fastest street legal Abarth ever'. With a 190HP, 997kg 1.4 T-Jet engine, the Abarth '695 biposto' offers the best weight-to-power ratio in its category (5.2kg/HP) as well as the best acceleration from 0 to 100km/h (just 5.9 seconds). A fusion of street and race car.
